A LOT to lose!

Hey all
I have tried mfp before but never really stuck to it.
I am a 21 year old female...
I weigh over 300 now and have about 126lbs to lose.
I need motivation and advice.
I want to virtually surround myself with positive
energy and i will return the favor.
I cannot give up this time.

Welcome to MFP! You are more than welcome to add me as a friend. MFP is a great place to meet supportive people that will motivate you as you are losing the weight. I have been on since January 3 and know that my success is partly due to having people that inspire and motivate me.

You will have success, you just need to honestly and faithfully enter your exercise and food into the tool. Make sure you are weighing and measuring your food - eyeballing it is not accurate.

Take care and work hard at this for the best results!!!
  • Feel free to add me. Everyone always needs positive energy and inspiration when it comes to weight loss. At my final weigh in during pregnancy I was at 205lbs. After I had my son 15 months ago I shrank back down to my pre-baby weight right away, 175ish. I've never been happy with my weight, I'm only 5'2.75." I joined MFP a long time ago, but restarted on February 20, 2013 at 172.8, as of today, just over a month later I'm down extaly 9 lbs. Here's to a new healthy you.

Hi there! Welcome back! This is a great place if you want to surround yourself with positive energy and support. I found that one of the best things about MFP is that I can post a lot of my fitness-related thoughts and accomplishments on my "wall" that I want to share with people and get feedback/support/praise for but I know people on Facebook probably don't want to read about or I'm not comfortable with them knowing. Feel free to add me as a friend :)

Welcome! I started again yesterday myself. I'm reading a fantastic book, an international bestseller, and this is a plan (not a traditional diet, but a different plan) that I think will actually work for me for the long haul. Different plans work for different people, but what I love about my fitness pal is that it keeps you accountable.

Regardless of how much you have to lose, it all starts with the first day, the first right choice, the first pound. Keep your eye on your big, important goal, and you will get there.

Feel free to be a friend. I exude positive energy!
  • I am over 300# as well and am starting this today. Would love to add as friend. I love your post to surround yourself with positive. I am adding this app on my phone and hopefully we can stick to it together. I am adding protien shakes to my diet plan because they seem to help me with hunger issues. Going to be a long journey but I know it can be done. I have seen to many other people do it and succeed. WE can't fail if we stick together.
