Ok, so I REALLY messed up last night. We went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory!! BIG MISTAKE!!! I picked a fairly healthy dinner and only ate about a 1/3 of it, which is probably still too much with their serving sizes. But then I couldn't resist, my husband and I both got a piece a cheesecake to go! We walked around the mall and then sat down to eat it. I split mine with my son and only ate about half of it (wild blueberry so at least it wasn't the OMG candy filled one my husband had!!). Then I felt horrible. I brought home the rest and threw it away!!! I did walk over 6000 steps after eating dinner in hopes of offsetting it all a little bit.
So anyhow TODAY IS A NEW DAY AND I WILL DO BETTER!!! I just did my Zumba and really worked it!! I've done two loads of laundry and am getting ready to take my son to the park - he's two so I should get some exercise chasing him. But I will only put healthy things in my mouth today, no more junk, it really made me feel BAD!!!
I just had to write about it to make myself take responsibility for it and learn from it and now MOVE ON!!
BACK ON TRACK!!

That's the attitude. Don't dwell on the past. Learn from your mistake. Just keep moving forward.0

I don't think you did that bad.
1...you picked a healthy dinner.
2.....you only ate 1/3.
3.....you picked a healthier cheese cake.
4.....you only ate 1/2 and threw the rest away.
and 5....You got right back on program, you didn't
We are all going to make mistakes, but you realized yours, and moved on. Good for you.0 -
I'm with McBeth here. I think you did great. You're still going to have dinner out with the hubby occasionally, and pizza parties to attend with the little one - life happens. Sounds like you made good choices. Are you never ever going to have cheesecake in your life again? SOunds like a pretty dull life to me. so you got it - you shared it - and then got rid of the leftovers after you have had your fill. Kudos to you !!!!0

I think you are being way to hard on yourself
You only ate 1/3 of the meal....and 1/2 of a cheesecake
The only bad thing you did was throwing it away...because you wasted your money when you could have given it to your husband or son
We all need to not take this lifestyle change so seriously....every once in a while, a treat is needed and is also well deserved
Goodluck on your journey0 -
Thanks everyone!!! I do appreciate it.0
