Evening nausea

Over the last year I have had recurring episodes of nightly nausea. I never actually throwup but it makes it hard to do anything because all I want to do is lay in bed. It usually lasts a couple weeks goes away then comes back. I have seen doctors but no one knows the cause. I've tried to pay attention to my food and my daily routine to find a pattern but can't seem to figure it out. It usually starts around 8pm everyday. Any suggestions?

Do you take birth control? My birth control made me nauseous a lot at night. It could also be from a multivitamin or a multitude of other reasons. It's hard to tell you without knowing more.0

Vitamins any kind also made me very sick at night when I took them so I changed to lunch time and problem gone. I was also thinking milk products can make me feel like you described. I hope things improve for you.0

My first thought was vitamin. Birth control was a good one too.
My dh gets nauseous in the mornings. I think its related to sinus/allergy where the stuff in his head is draining, or draining when he gets up and makes him sick. Dunno.
good luck on finding out though. That does not sound like fun at all.0 -
I was thinking and it could be hormonal too. If it works with your cycle and you get nauseous the same weeks each cycle. Maybe there is something that just makes you sick. Do you keep track of it on a calendar? Could be not related to bc but the bc can be regulating the times. Just a thought I suppose.0

Yes I am on bc. It doesnt happen same time each month. Used to take vitamins but they too caused nausea so istopped.0

I seem to be suffering from this as well, it's only been two nights in a row but I would still like to know what is wrong with me.0

i have the same thing. Its never been bad enough to see a doc (granted I hate going to the doctor). I take my bc at night around 9:30, I wonder if that's it. It's not every night though but often enough to notice it.0

If this continues to be a problem for you despite what other changes you make in your diet, I would definitely say it's your birth control. I got extremely nauseous on the patch. Not all birth controls make me feel nauseous so it was pretty easy to remedy the problem by switching to another method. It also tends to go away after 3 months of taking bc. In my case, it didn't.
The patch was actually a great weight loss tool for me because I got to the point where all I could stand was seltzer water and crackers. I lost 15 pounds in 2 months. Guess I could have really lost if I'd stayed on it, but I'd rather be healthy and not want to vomit. When you are that nauseous, it eliminates the need for birth control.0 -

I take mine in the morning around 10.30-11am and i still seem to get it. Granted, I am only on my second pack which may be the reason.0 -
I am on a pill and have decided to try to switch back to a patch in a few weeks. My doctor didn't seem to think that was the problem but we will see what happens.0

I have been on the depo shot for almost a year now and I have been experiencing nausea every single night. No it isn't fun and it has come to the point to where I want to vomit. I assume it's just a side effect when it comes to this form of birth control? I have a doctors appointment next week and I will discuss this with her, I hope I'm right!0

For me, it's GERD acting up. I have many nights where I can hardly sleep because I feel I'm gonna throw up. It's not fun and my asthma and its medicine only exacerbate the problem.0
