    I'm in Alexandria, previously in Fairfax, I so miss my farmland and mountains of North GA where I grew up. Maybe I should move down south of where I am. I would love to see green pastures, animal, etc. This is too much city for me up here. I don't even consider this "SOUTH". I miss the southern ways of everyone speaking to ya when you go to the grocery store and you know all the women in the bank, schools, etc. I am surrounded by millions of people up here and work in DC, yet is so lonely and isolated.
    I miss my garden and porch sitting.

    Don't know if I've posted here..

    Hattiesburg, MS most all my life (then some Texas for 6 months; Virginia- which didn't even know what grits were so how are they southern?- for 2 months).. moved to Gainesville, FL almost a year ago. The rest of my family are from Nawleans.
