Post WLS Folks....Food Taste

Any WLS folks out there noticed a change in food tast since surgery? For me anything with tomatoes has a way different taste. From fresh tomatoes to tomato sauce. Not really noticed it with any other foods.

    For me, it's the usual...salt tastse saltier, sweet is sweeter. I used to like coffee (decaf) but not so much now. Everything else is about the same.

    Oh Absolutely...sweets are too sweet, and I cannot tolerate any kind of pasta sauce. I can eat tomatoes but
    had a bite of pizza and it made me gag. The people in my support group that are a year out and over say the
    taste buds go back to normal after about a year.
