Eat a healthy balanced diet full of protein, fresh fruit and veggies, drink plenty of water. Your body will do the rest. :bigsmile:0

Leafy greens are fantastic for detoxifying especially parsley and cilantro. I have also heard gelatinous foods (aloe, chia seeds) are good. Lots and lots of water, lots of easy-to-digest stuff. Some people like juicing for detox because you can condense pounds of fruits and veggies into a few glasses of nutrient-rich juice. Just keep things simple and minimal. If nature made it, it's good. If man made it, it's not so good.0

drink lots of water - helps your body with the natural detoxification process that it goes through on a daily basis.0

Nature makes arsenic. Man makes penicillin. That argument is not always the best one to bust out in defense of cleanses.
OP - you do not need a cleanse. Any weight you lose on it will be because of ridiculous calorie restrictions that will land you with headaches, weakness, shakiness, and a strong urge to binge because you will simply not. be. eating. enough.
You don't have toxins in your body from previous foods. You've already passed the food. Eat better food and start now. Your body will be happier for it.0 -
Try eating raw for a week or two. I felt amazing when I did this. Just allowed myself a small piece of meat each night since I'm not a vegetarian. Lots of fruit salad and homemade guacamole with veggies to make sure I got fats in. :-)0

This is a much more sensible approach.0 -

sorry for the confusion, I was going to put in something about raspberry ketones and cider vinegar but I couldn't stop myself laughing long enough.0

Breathing, peeing, pooping, sweating. That should take care of it.0

Which toxin are you specifically looking to remove from your body?0

If nature made it, it's good.
I am sick of this kind of nonsense.
If you ever actually study biology, you will quickly realize that "nature" is an endless arms war. Every organism is at war with its competitors. Some organisms evolve to take advantage of others' weaknesses, and that's how they succeed. But make no mistake - every life form in nature is hard at work competing with its brethren and enemies for resources, to survive long enough to produce offspring. Every organism in nature has countermeasures and protections built into it. There's a reason fire ant bites sting so much. There's a reason poison ivy makes you break out in rashes. There's a reason stingrays have barbs on their tails. It's so you don't mess with them.
It's not good because it comes from nature. More often than not, it's bad. If you went out into "nature" and tried to eat anything you could get your hands on, you'd die before you discovered perfect health. All that "good" in nature would gladly kill you and consume you for your valuable resources.0 -
Don't bother using products ...... waste of time & money ......
Just eat healthy food in reasonable portions ...... drink plenty of water ...... get some exercise ......
And have fun :drinker:0 -

Step two drink lots of water, which people have already noted. It gets rid of wastes and toxins and replenishes our bodies.0 -
Just thinking it would be a way to lose weight
Calorie deficit is how you lose weight. You don't have pounds of toxins in your body making you fat.0 -
Just thinking it would be a way to lose weight
Quick fixes are never good sadly. Trust me you will gain the weight back and most likely gain even more than you lose. Weight loss has to be a lifestyle change to be maintainable unfortunately.0 -

You don't have pounds of toxins in your body
Whaaaaaa... I think that's BS. Most of us do, particularly smokers, ex-smokers, etc,.
Anyway OP, I wouldn't buy detox products but I wouldn't buy that you don't have toxins either. Exercise is a great way of giving back to your body and helping to rid of years of crap. Eat right, exercise and you'll be set.0 -
So step one is don't put garbage into your body.
OP, if you are looking for a "boost" what about trying a new exercise routine? You could start lifting weights. Here is one resource: http://www.thenewrulesoflifting.com/nrol-for-women0 -
