hello. I started my journey in Sept. '12 and have lost 35lbs since. but currently I am STUCKKKKK and have been for 2 WHOLE MONTHS! I don't understand at all. I exercise pretty regularly and hardly ever go over my calorie intake. I usually eat roughly 1000 calories a day. so can anyone help me with this? I really need the help, advice, support, and motivation. I am still 20lbs away from my goal and I wanted to have this done by July of this year. please help..i don't want to give up but I feel myself losing all motivation every time I step onto the scale and see nothing has changed! thanks in advance.

btw; feel free to add me! :)

Try upping your calories, slowly, to a higher, healthier amount. At the very least eat your BMR. Good luck!

1000 calories is not enough. 1000 calories with exercise will leave you with dangerous low calorie counts. You have to eat more to fuel your body, to propel you through workouts, to help your body repair the muscles in order to burn fat more effectively. Check out the road map link.

That's not a knife, this is a knife!

It's about a year, here. Try not to let the panic get to you until the six month mark. Aside from upping calories, you can also be extra careful with measuring out food as people tend to underestimate portion sizes. And log your exercise accurately, since people tend to overestimated their times/calories burned.

thankyou everyone! for everyone else that said theyre also at a plateau...ive heard that the last 20 are the hardest to get rid of. but I am weighing in at 175 (that's still a big number) its seems that I would still be able to lose wt at a steady pace since im so over wt. I heard its harder when ur smaller to lose the wt. is this true?

Yeah, my plateau lasted for 1 1/2 years. Your argument is invalid.

I broke through mine by weighing my food and being more accurate with my logging.
