5:2 fast diet

I only need to drop 7lb so bought the 5:2 book where you 'fast' for 2 days per week having only 500 cals for a woman or 600 cals for a man. Seems a lot simpler than WeightWatchers which I did last year & lost a stone.

Disappointed in book as all the calorie info was per 100g, which is why I'm loving MFP as you can search for food based on 'an egg', 'a slice of bread' instead of 100g of! So much easier - I haven't got the time or patience to weigh everything.:smile:

    I have started the 5:2 diet and yesterday was my first fast day. 500 cal. was hard I think I went alittle over. I going to keep it up for a month and see what happens.
