Fitness videos without jumping

Hello!!
Does anyone know of good fitness videos out there without jumping? I live in an apartment on the 2nd floor and don't want to be "that" upstairs neighbor. I was thinking about checking out Jillian Michael's Fitness Revolution, but not sure if it has jumping...or what else is out there.
Or of any good online videos on YouTube that anyone follows?
I work out at the gym 4-5 days a week, mostly cardio, but I sort of want to add something else to it. I feel like I'm at a plateau and nothing seems to be changing. I know I need to lift more, but I also don't like to do that alone at the gym.
Really would like to get some toned thighs and stomach..those are my two hated areas (along with most women, right? haha)
Thoughts? Suggestions??
Thanks!!!

Leslie Sansone Walk at home is something available on Youtube that you could do with downstairs neighbours.0
-
I am interested to have some options on this too as in May I am moving into an apartment where I believe I will have downstairs neighbours. So all my current home exercise I do will need to change!0
-
You can always do some pilates or yoga videos. The walking one mentioned already is good too.
Another option is just to ask your neighbor when is a good time frame to make a little more noise than usual. They'd probably be quite accommodating and happy you were considerate enough to ask.0 -
I began Pilates for this exact reason. I use POP Pilates, beginner's workout, by Cassey Ho. It's right here on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCg_gh_fppI0

Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown is tough but quiet.0

As a previous poster mentioned, POP Pilates is tough, and no jumping required! She has a website with all of her workouts, and you can sign up for her workout calendars here: blogilates.com0

Chalean Extreme.0

I just bumped this, but in case you missed it, free (quiet) yoga: http://www.doyogawithme.com/0

You can always do an option--like do a squat instead of jump. Just adapt it!0

Leslie workouts are FAB!!!!!!!!! I love these and try to do on the days I do not go to the gym or when my joints ache (bad ankle, knee etc) to much for circuits or zumba....... give them a go..0

Walk at Home DVDs are great .... look for ones that don't have jogging (or just don't jog).
Some walking videos on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5SeMKN8Bus
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm0C8awjNIQ
You can find the "impact level" of many exercise videos at collagevideo.com ..... they also show video clips, give reviews, tell you equipment is required ... a valuable resource before buying anything0 -
Any of Leslie's walking videos are good for people living in upper levels. Jillian Michael's Body Revolution...requires jumping as you progress through the workouts so I wouldn't advise that one. I'm on my 3rd week and the jumping has started.0

Try http://Sweatn.com for free workout video's.0

Xtend Barre Lean & Chiseled. I got it on amazon for like $10 last winter & really enjoyed it0

I'm on the 2nd floor too. I do Jillian Michael's stuff (30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, etc.) I just do light jogging in place or punches or skaters without as much impact for any cardio intervals. My downstairs neighbors say that can't hear me and I've had great success with her stuff
I also do the Leslie Sansone walking videos mentioned above too.0 -
I have the JM body Revolution and the first month has no jumping unless you want..but the second month has more intense cardio and involves jumping jacks and burpees lol and much more... nothing quiet about that0

Can't help you on the DVDs, but take the stairs, all the time! Go up and down a couple extra times each day, just because.
Wearing only socks and jumping/jogging in place over a thick rug might do the trick though.0 -
older - but Billy Blank's Tae Bo Amped WITH the bar....0

"Nap Yourself Slender!" by Snusan Driftaway is a great, low impact program for quiet, effortless weight loss.0

If you have a step you could try some step aerobics workouts. I'm sure some have some jumping, but not all do. You can always modify your exercises as well so as not to have to jump or land hard. And if you're looking for workouts for legs, steps will definitely do it.0

Quiet Cardio Workout - Low Impact No Bounce Recovery Cardio Workout .
Hi!
I live in an apartment too so I have the same problem. You should definitely check Fitnessblender.com, they have great workouts. This workout above, and my favorite, which this one: http://www.fitnessblender.com/v/exercise-detail/Quiet-Cardio-Workout-Low-Impact-Apartment-Cardio-Workout/dm/
You won't burn as many calories as in a high impact cardio workout, but it is really great and you can do it whenever you want.
That's for cardio, but they also have a great choice of toning workout (for abs, thighs etc.) that don't involve any jumping. I also really love their barre workouts (very quiet and they still burn quite a lot of calories). All you'll need is a chair.
Hope this helps!0 -

Does her stuff work? I always check it out, but have yet to try it...... I don't know why!!!0 -
Wow!!! So many options!! I am going to have to check out some of those ones that are online!! I have a laptop and space and they would be FREE! I have tried Jillian Michaels 30DS, I stick with it for a few days, then she gets on my nerves, but I have thought about trying her other DVD's that people seem to have good luck with!
I wish MFP had notified me of all these replies!!! I could have checked all this stuff out sooner!
Well now I know what is on my to do list for the evening!!!
Be nice to have other options as well for those days I don't give it my all at the gyrm, or you know, when I'm lazy and don't make it....
Thanks everyone!0 -
Kettlenetics with Michelle Khai is great, It is an aerobic type workout when you order it it comes with 2 dvd's plus the starter kettlebell so its a good deal especially if you get it on a site like amazon or somewhere. That one burns a ton of calories is a great workout and she's a great trainer.0

oh, this thread is so helpful, I already favorite some youtube workouts! I tried insanity for 10 minutes and needed to stop because of this loud jumping0
-
I have been using this one - I live on the 3rd floor with squeaky floors and a light sleeping toddler. My husband said the audio of the video was louder than me preforming the activities!

Google "total body extension".
Mike Whitfield demonstrates. It also is called a fake jump by them. You do everything but leave the ground. Would allow you to do the video by JM that you already have and want to do with a great, hard, substitute.
Its also not as hard on your knees as jumping but you get all the benefits without potential pain.
And your neighbors should be happy as well.0
