stuck!!

I have been dieting for a couple months now and have lost about 18lbs so far. well now it seems I am at a plateau. I'm not gaining or losing anything. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do at this point?

    maybe about a week and half to 2 weeks

    I'm Struck too. I know someday it will start coming off again. I really think I am gaining muscle at this point because my body is still changing. Just keep on plugging away. Are you exercising? Did you take your measurements? That is were the most of my change is. Keep goooing!

    If it's been 2 weeks, then it's usually time to either try your calories by 200 and/or up your exercise. If that doesn't work, then never hurts to check w/your doctor for hypothyroidism or any other problems. You could also check your body fat percentage to see if you might be gaining muscle weight, but that doesn't usually show up on the scale until you're close to your goal weight.

    You lost 18 lbs in 2 months? Not seeing the problem. A week is not a plateau. Weight loss is not linear.

    i exercise very little. basically when i have time to since i work alot. i haven't taken my measurements but i think i will. thanks for your imput. im trying to not get discouraged and mess up on my diet.

    18lbs in two months is a LOT.

    thanks i will. when i started my diet i stopped drinking sodas completely and keeping track of what i eat so i know that had alot to do with how much i lost during that time.
