my nutrionist wants me to eat 1500 calories a day and eat up to 80 grams of protein therefore this is different than what i got when i let mfp do it for me. i noticed that when i did it myself the fat and carbs are less. i hope i can do it. its hard to do everything your supposed to. i like it better when mfp did it for me, it said i can eat 1720 calories, 276 carbs and 67 grams of fat. i guess i should do what my nutritionist had recommended seeming how i did have weight loss surgery.

If you had weight loss surgery, then you should definitely stick to what your nutritionist recommended. It might be difficult at first but it gets easier to identify things you should have in smaller portions and moderation after you've been tracking for a while. Don't let it get you down and good luck! :flowerforyou:

Stick to the nutritionist, just use the self feature (that you want to put your goals in yourself.)

yeah i say nutritionist. He/she know's you better than a computer program!
MFP says i should only eat 1200 cal's for my goal, my nutritionist says it's basically starving and will just drive down my motabalism anway, especiall considering my BMI and activity level. I use this site to get an IDEA not as a golden rule. Bodies are SOOOO different that one program can not be accurate for everyone.

thanks for the feedback, your right i will put in my own calorie intake and protein for the day and use this to track my calories. it is keeping my countable for my intake. i am more self aware of what im putting in my mouth whereas before when i was writing things down on paper if i ate something that didnt show the calories i just estamated now using this i have a better idea. i hope using this program will help.
    good luck to you all
