Hi I'm just new here.

I'm 29 and looking to get back in shape. Really want to lose about 1/2 to 3/4 of a stone (7-10lbs). I also just want to learn to eat healthier. My job can be quite stressful and I sit at a desk all day so it is so easy to put on the extra few lbs by eating badly. Also I love my chocolate, biscuits and cups of tea! :drinker: So need help in that department! Hopefully by writing it all down it will help to keep track.

Looking forward to getting plenty of healthy tips!!:smile:

    HI! I am also new to this site. I have a bit more to lose than you. My goal is 17 lbs.

    I just wanted to say I also have a high stress job that keeps me sitting at a desk for up to 10 hours a day 5 days a week and I understand the challenges that can create.

    I found that traditional trips to the gym just aren’t my thing. I found less traditional activates to participate in like trampoline airobics. The different activities makes working out a lot more fun.

    Totally understand! It's often hard to motivate myself to go to the gym after a day's work. I have recently moved country so any routine that I did have at home is well gone now. So just have to try again to get back into some form of exercise. I've signed myself up for a 10 mile run soon that now that I have done that I have to do something about it or I will be last across the finish line!!!

    Also I have found that between my work and visitors staying with me I have been out too much, and eating out and too many social drinks = jelly belly!!!

    My name is Kathy, 30 years old, new to this site. I've never kept track of what I was eating and never realized how much it added up to. So happy to find out about this site. I have been with this site for a week and have already lost 5lbs. and many more to go.
