What's a good brand of pedometer that will stay clipped on and give reasonably accurate count of steps. Want to get to 10,000 steps/day and pedometers are flimsy.

I'm happy with my Omron. Got a basic one that was recommended in a research article. It doesn't do anything like sync to a website or track anything for me, but you can buy it for $20 on amazon.0 -
My mom got a fitbit, and she loves it. She ordered me one for an early birthday, and I get it on Sunday. I think they are around $30? Something like that.0

I have used an Omron and now have a fitbit. Both are really good and help to motivate me. The fitbit has a few more bells and whistles, and also costs more - $ 60 - $ 100 depending on the model. I like the automatic download so I can see my progress on the computer, but with the Omron I just used to keep track by writing it down on on my calender. Both are great choices just depends on what you want to spend..
I do have a "leash" for my pedometer - available from Amazon - which has saved me from losing my pedometer on several occasions. While it may sound silly I would definitely recommend one.0 -
Thank you...got it & stepping away the sedentary lifestyle. :happy:0
