Just want to report to the MFP world that I have lost a total of 20lbs as of today.
I started this journey in August 2012 at 270lbs. and lost some weight until the Holidays came around and I gained back 10lbs. But since the begining of the year, I have done my best to stick with this new lifestyle.
I basically stay under my calorie limit for the most part. I try to fit in some weight lifting and walking/jogging whenever I can. I do try to keep it real by having my cheat day. It all seems to be working out slowly but surely. I am now 250lbs. which I have not been since 2005. I am so excited right now and inspired to continue on this journey.
I thank the Lord for this site and for everyone that keeps posting progress pictures, success stories, and encouraging one another so that we all understand that we can reach our goal.

Well done! It sounds like you have a good attitude to changing your life and your health and you are succeeding. Good luck as you continue on the journey. You will get there - it's not a race but you will be the winner.0

Thanks. I didn't gain all the weight overnight. So, it's not going to come off overnight either. I think if I do slow and steady it will be easier to maintain after I've lost all that I need to lose.0

I've had great success with MFP, I've lost around 17lbs now since I started in January.
Keep at it0
