    What's a wedding shower by the way? What do you do at them? I'm English and we don't do these. We've only recently started having baby showers.
    My fiance is English :)

    In simplest terms it's basically a pre-party before the wedding... but for us it's the only party really, since we're doing a destination wedding. We chose to buy a house than spend $60k on a wedding.

    Ok, because of location alone/tone of event I would say the first. (Short is probably more appropriate for an outdoor event.) Also, I don't think you need a stomach shaper. :) You look gorgeous.

    Good plan! Where are you going to get married? We did the big wedding - church, meal, reception etc - but luckily my parents paid for most of it. We also had a 2 week all inclusive honeymoon to Cuba. In retrospect we should've had a cheaper Wedding and saved the rest for a deposit for a bigger place to live, especially as I was pregnant a month after our wedding!
