My Success Story - 10 lbs from Goal (with pics)

So I have debated on when I would post this success story. Almost daily I visit the Success Stories message board to see new pics and stories. It is so inspiring to me to see how far so many of you have come. I hope my story can inspire someone on their weight loss journey. I kind of have a hard time considering myself a success story, I feel like I have so much more work to do before I will be happy with my body. But that is something I have to work on more mentally than anything else. Anyway, here's the good stuff...
Stats:
Height: 5'11"
Starting Weight: 261 lbs
Current Weight: 192 lbs
Goal Weight: 184 lbs (may lower this depending on how I feel when I get there)
These pictures are from Feb 2012, around 255 lbs

These pictures are from today, 192 lbs

Thank you for posting this, I am right at 5'11 - 6'0 foot
So your starts are really close to mine.
You look great. Congratulations,
How have you been doing it, Watching Calories? or Carbs? or fats?0 -
Thanks everyone!
I have been doing Weight Watchers in addition to tracking all my food on MFP. After the initial 15 lbs lost with WW, my weight loss stalled. I found I had to limit my carb intake to lose. I had to be much more strict in the beginning, but now I don't have to be as strict, which I think may have to do with my work outs. I recently started working out with a trainer twice a week and he is incorporating a lot of strength training. I find I need the carbs or I am starving all the time. I have cut out a lot of processed foods though, which I think has made a HUGE difference.0 -
