Going on vacation this week. I really want to stick to my diet. Anyone got any ideas for breakfast food that's reasonable at a restaurant?

Low fat yogurt with fruit. Fruit salad and half a bagel.
I usually just keep away from carbs as much as possible. If I have a burger I'll remove the top bun.
My cheating trick is to do 50 lunges with each leg before I go on vacation, and about 25 each while on vacation. That works the largest muscle in the body and keeps you burning calories. I've actually lost weight while on vacation. haha. Don't deprive yourself. Enjoy it.0 -
Get what you like (i love pancakes with sugar free syrup) and just eat less of it. No need to torture yourself while on vacation. Often I will order what I want and put half away right away. Plus, you can check calorie counts for most restaurant chains before you go to eat.

I know it's hard to believe but scrambled eggs and bacon are not a high calorie breakfast. A veggie omelet without cheese is really delish and low cal also. My at-home breakfast most days is oatmeal with a tbsp of nuts and either a couple tbsp of craisins or some fruit and that's low cal and filling. Have fun!0

I'd suggest eggs. Specifically eggs that aren't cooked in butter. Maybe poached eggs with toast and a piece of bacon? You can do cereal at restaurants, too.0

A lot of restaurants these days will offer egg beaters and turkey products as substitutes. Oatmeal is good too.
I will also add that i just got back from a 4 day vacation that I ate on plan 2 days and off 2 days and I carried home a lot of water weight. When I weighed in the day I left, I was 193.4, then the day I got back I was 198.2. Today (3 days later) I'm 192.2. So, what I'm saying is, if you do indulge a bit, give yourself a few days get the water off before you start feeling too guilty or like you ruined your progress!0 -

I know someone that's into "frugal" living and she brings her own blender (the ones with individual cups) shops at the local store where she's staying and gets fruits and veggies. And she'll just blend herself a smoothie. That would work for you if you were just worried about breakfast. So everyone goes to eat you can just get a side of something that's a protein. For lunch light I say order things like soups (nothing with heavy cream) and sandwiches. For dinner fish or an entree salad.0
