As titled, I would like to know if there's any food plans that you guys are following (AND WORKING!)
I'm looking for a balanced one so at least i can enjoy food rather than starve myself and mess up my metabolism...

My hubby and I are eating clean. It's removing processed, genetically modified, or "man-made food products" from your diet - so nothing that doesn't come from nature! As close to the whole food as possible... and yes, it's working! It's a lifestyle change, so be prepared to be in it for the long haul.

-Tosca Reno, probably the most known for "Eating Clean" has made numerous books, one of which is called "Eating Clean For Men" with some "guy" recipes, which my husband LOVES (he calls it "real food" LOL) and one called "Just The Rules" which is a life-saver when you're starting out!
If you're wanting a long-term solution, try it... it is a bit more expensive, because you WILL need to be willing to go for whole-grain options, pure/organic foods, etc... however the slightly higher costs are weighed out VERY quickly by how different you feel. As an example, we got back on the bandwagon, so to speak, about a week ago... yesterday we went out for food with a friend and of course the only thing open on Good Friday is fast food so we had tacos and fries... WOW... we felt it fast! We didn't realize how quickly our bodies had become used to the good food, but we both knew it right away when we ate something processed!

What seems to work for me is to get about 25-30 grams of protein with my first meal of the day, and again 25-30 grams of protein with my second meal of the day. This helps me to feel satiated and I do not get hungry or have food cravings.
I try to aim for a daily average of 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. Also, I try to keep my carbohydrate gram to protein gram ratio to as close to 2:1 as possible without going over. I try to keep my protein gram to fat gram ratio at less than 2:1.
That is as close to a food plan as I have. I eat all manner of foods. I have found that dairy foods (cottage cheese, and Greek yogurt especially) are pretty protein dense for the calories provided so I incorporate one or the other of those into my eating plan every day. I also eat chia seed pudding every day for the omega 3's and the soluble fiber.
