Poptart Smoothie

That poptart thread gave me the urge to get my poptart fix. I was thinking though - has anyone ever thrown one in a smoothie? Here's what I'm thinking.

2 cups of milk (almond in my case) and 2 poptarts (confetti cupcake of course). Maybe a scoop of vanilla protein powder to make it thicker.

Let me know and I'll let you know how it goes.

That would kill my blood sugar but I'd be curious to see how it goes.

The poptart obsession around here is getting a bit boring and monotonous.
There is nothing special about them, pieces of cardboard filled with sugar and chemicals designed to hook people from the word go, lol.
    Cake is infinitely more tasty.

Don't make a poptart smoothie. I tried one and now I'm just lying on the floor waiting to **** my brains out.

Since they're already processed sugar and flour - they blend down into almost nothing. It doesn't thicken up the shake up at all. You'll end up with a disgustingly sweet cup of milk.

Fine. I'm just going to say it. I don't like poptarts. I never have. If I remove the crust from a frosted strawberry poptart, I can maybe manage to eat one but I don't like them.

I can go to town on some toaster strudels...

Anytime someone starts one of these threads, all I can think of is how gross pop tarts are. I should just stop reading them but the level of lolz is usually pretty high so I can't help myself.

I think you may as well just eat some ice cream. It would be a lot more enjoyable than throwing pop tarts in a smoothie...and actually more nutritious if you compare the nutritional values.

OR you could do your body a favor and make something good for you...like a peanut butter/banana/milk smoothie with some of that protein powder. Or even throw some spinach in there and get some veggies. You can't taste it and it's better for you than pop tarts. Plus spinach blends a tad better than processed flour and fake fruit filling. ;-)
