NSV every pair of jeans fit! The scale lies!

So recently I have been finding it hard to lose weight. I've been hovering around the upper 150lbs and getting a little stressed about it since my prev lowest weight was 148lb two years ago and I felt really good at that weight. However, when I weighed 148lb I barely exercised, it was all done through diet and the last three pounds from starting to run. Now i run, ive done insanity, and currently do metafit, run and been lifting heavy weights for the last three months... My boyfriend keeps telling me I look as light if not lighter now and as much as I wanted to believe him I had to see it for myself...

This morning when I was putting away laundry I found a pair of jeans I haven't tried on for at least a year, and a year ago they were tight, two years ago they fit and gues what.... Today they also fit! Ha the scale lies to the tune of ten pounds apparently!

From there I went on a bit of a jean trying on frenzy... And they all fit. Every last pair in my closet fit and not just fit, they were comfortable! I could actually cry I'm so happy with this! Now don't get me wrong, I still want at least that 10lb off so that my body fat is lower and I'm a bit leaner but I can stop obsessing now! Won't be throwing away the scale just yet since it reminds me to keep my eating in check though.

Awesome! You've probably gained muscle and loss fat and the scale has levelled out. Who needs scales anyway :P

Thanks for posting this! I'm encouraged by this because I feel thinner than ever, and the scale has me up a couple of pounds. (I know it's sodium, but it's still messing with my head).

Your experience is exactly why I know that although I weigh the same as I did five yrs ago before my last pregnancy, I am not the same size. I still don't fit those jeans that were my fave. My BF is much higher and I have less muscle mass.
