Hello, my name is Kayla and I am 20 years old, I have a one year old little girl and I think it's about time to do something about my inner tube problem, lol. I am married and my husband works 40 hours a week...I sit at home with my daughter and do nothing most of the time. Recently i've been swimming at the lake and creek, doing my best to get some exercise in, but I can't go as often as i'd like since we only have one car. I try to have motivation to exercise at home but I never feel good or energized when i'm in my apartment...dunno why but I also suffer from headaches and migraines so it's hard sometimes. Despite all of that I am eating less and am determined to lose weight, i'm sure there are plenty of other mom's out there ready for this, I would love to make friends on here, get tips and support so add me!

i've got 3 kids and 1 still home fulltime with me and trying to find ways to excersize with her around is rough but i would do videos with her around and she likes to immitate me which is funny as hell and that good laugh can get me through most workouts. i've walked around the house for hours with her chasing me or me chasing her when the weather is bad and i walk with her outside when it's nice out. i take her out swimming with me now and i pull her along with me while i swim in her little raft. i do lots of wii and wii fit things too. just bought a treadmill now so i can do that while she plays. hope something here helps you out.
  • Awesome, i'm glad i've already made a friend. Yeah once Bella starts walking i'll have more to do lol but she isn't crawling or standing yet so we are working on that. But yeah i've taken her swimming too and I wish I had a treadmill that would be awesome I could walk on it for hours probably lol. Thanks for the tips and looks like you are doing a great job at losing weight! How long have u been a member on here? I'm so glad i've found something free to help me track everything lol.

Hi. I am a stay at home mom of a three year old girl and a one year old boy. I know how hard it is to get motivated. Or even get out the door somedays! I have an elliptical at home, but I have to wait until my son is sleeping and then let my daughter watch any cartoon she wants just so she will let me workout. This usually last 30 min before she is trying to climb on with me.

I have tried videos or calisthenics, but my kids just get excited and try to climb all over me!

Stay at home mom of 5! I use the treadmill when the littlest is sleeping....or pop in one of Jillian Michaels vids. I also throw her in the stroller and take kids for a walk....we are up to just under 4 miles a day sometimes! The hardest is not eating what they eat sometimes. Not that they are eating badly, but more carbs etc than I do, or should do.

i've been on here for 7 weeks and i've been losing weight for 8 weeks. it's working well. i'm a computer junkie so this is right up my alley lol. i didn't realize your little one was that little. well you could just walk around carrying her. her extra weight will add more burned calories for you as you do stuff.
  • Thanks everyone who has replied. Yeah I would walk around carrying her but my back is always out it feels like i'm 80 sometimes with the back pain I have lol. I would take her out in the stroller but I live on a dead end rd. and don't know if the area around here is ideal for taking my baby out in *sigh* i'll have to figure something out lol my friend has a little boy and we are like the same age so she and I might work something out.
