    I have to disagree with you on roadkill as that's a very sweeping statement. It all depends on how fresh it is. If it's fresh, it's fine (think of all that free protein - got to be careful in these tough economic times).

    I did quite a bit of research using rats brains at university*. Never had the urge to put them in my mouth though.

    * We reused old slides and samples rather than kill lots more innocent rats before anyone gets upset with me!

    This. I thought Seitan was promounced "zy-tan", but then I heard it was meant to be "say-tan" and everything made sense.


    I had a turkey hotdog once at the Jewish musuem in Berlin and it was also foul. (boom-boom!)
