My cat is lazy. I need help motivating him.

All he does is nap. Sometimes up to 22-23 hours per day. What should I do?

    I too have this issue with getting my cat to exercise with me. Sometimes I manage to wake her, but she just stares at me when I try to encourage her to move.

    1. Fill tub with water
    2. Throw cat in
    3. shut shower curtain or shower door
    4. Repeat 3 times daily

    Always works. You can also sub shower out with throwing it in the middle of a pool, lake, or any other water filed area.

    Put half a laxative tablet in his cat food in the morning - it will ensure that he's rushing too and fro from the litter tray all day - repeat daily for a week and it should instil in him the exercise habit

    Cats are natural hunters.
    Invest in live mice from pet stores or catch them yourself!
    Set said free mice in the same room as your cat.
    Which ever survives will move onto the next round.
