    Actually, cats prefer to go outside, and will do their business outside if they are allowed to go in and out. The only problem is that the big wide world has cat-haters in it that will do terrible things to cats if they get their hands on them. There are dogs and cars. Actually, my last indoor-outdoor kitty was hit by a car. :sad: My current kitty is kept indoors.

    My kitty doesn't even realize her power. Whenever I scoop her litter box, she just peeks at me from around the corner with this look on her face like "Why is she doing that? Doesn't she know what I put in there?"

    Our last indoor/outdoor cat used to do his business outside and was perfectly fine with it. Then he was carried off by an owl and became a more integrated part of the circle of life. He was an awesome cat and I miss him.

    My cats both use the toilet, for both #1 and #2s, never miss, it's great. I trained them using CittyKitty www.cittykitty.com
    No litter tracking through the house, and kids can play in my yard and not worry about stepping in anything.
