Going on a Cleanse to Release Toxins

Gonna bite the bullet on this one. For the next few weeks, I'll be drinking juice, green veggies, two kinds of grapefruit, kiwis, beans, and watermelon chips and that's about it. My hope is that my skin will clear and I'll find a new, detoxified me in time for my favorite event of the year, Beer and Bratwurst Fest 2013. Wish me luck!

So, instead of binge and purge, you plan to purge and binge?

Why would you want to do such a thing to yourself? Your liver and kidneys do that job day in and day out....no need to cleanse

I hate to say I threw up in my mouth a little reading this one. Sorry OP.

why not just drink beer and eat bratwurst anytime you want and be sensible about it. The rest of that detox stuff sounds a bit meh to me.

I keep my toxins chained up in a dark basement. Sometimes I yell at them from the top of the stairs.

See, this is the problem with this site. Three out of four of these posts are people being sarcastic, but doing it in a way that sounds completely serious and their little circle of friends is having a good laugh at the expense of the people who aren't in on the joke. We have no way of know if this guy is just jerking our chains or is seriously going to do this rather odd sounding thing.

Yeah, some of these posts sound completely serious but could possibly be sarcastic. So hard to tell.

Just assume that anybody who posts about toxins is a troll. If they're serious, their MFP friends should be steering them in the right direction. If they don't have any friends to ask the critical questions, then they wouldn't listen to you anyway.
