Vegetarian Protein foods for Hypothyroidism

Hi everyone.. As all of us know, protein intake is very important to maintain n build muscles and speed up fat loss. I eat egg whites (4nos) 4-5 days a week. Yet my protein intake is never till my goal (55% of my diet). I have hypothyroidism and hence cannot eat sprouts. I also eat chicken 2-3times a week. As it is summer here (India), eating chicken n eggs is causing a lot of heat in my body :(.

Could you please advice easy vegetarian protein options (considering hypothyroidism) to increase my protein intake?

    I love Tofu! Maybe that would be an option for you?
    Also: Proteinshakes, Nutritional yeast, Saitan, Cheese.

    Yogurt, Buttermilk, Low fat milk, Tofu, Curd, Lentils..though Soya is also not good for Thyroid patients.I suffer from same..check my diary hope you get some opinions....Do you eat fish?
