Recently I lost a loved one and it made me realize that I need to take better care of myself. I was in the military for 8 yrs and recently got out to pursue other ventures. In doing so, I lost my drive to work-out and stay in shape. Today marked the first day I was back in the gym in over 9 months, I look forward to many days busting my *kitten* to get back into peak shape as I want to run another marathon by the end of the year. Looking for friends who can keep me motivated and on course to achieve my goal...feel free to add me as a friend.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Good luck on your journey to running another marathon. You can do it! I'm currently working my way to running my first 5k (May 25)!0

I can relate with the loss of a loved one - someone close to me passed away when I had almost lost 60lb last year. Grief can do weird things to a person and I just lost all motivation and put about 40lb back on...today is my first day back in the gym for about 11 months. Good luck0

Thank you, and good luck running the 5k. Just be warned, they do become addictive after a while. 5k, 10k, etc. lol0
