calculating yard work

Can somebody suggest how I should calculate calories burned doing yard work? I don't mean plucking weeds. I mean moving boulders, building a rock wall, chopping wood (clearing land for a new house). I swear I burned about 50,000 calories this weekend, but that might not be exactly accurate.

You have a few options - under the exercise tab click on cardiovascular and add whatever you think is appropriate: strength training, calisthenics, gardening - depending on the level of effort you feel you exerted.

Whenever I do yardwork (LOTS of leaf raking in the fall) I halve the time I spend working and log it as gardening. I do that because I feel the calories are overestimated.

Thanks! I didn't even realize there was a gardening option. Duh.:ohwell:
