those who wear HRM I have a ??

Ok so I was just wondering I have a HRM with chest strap... I am a 30 yr old female 162 lbs. My resting heart rate is around 79 have always had a higher resting HR than what I think I should have.. While sitting not doing much or doing light house work or just walking around my HR is around 105-115 BPM is that around normal for you all to? Walking pushing a double jogging stroller on a gravel dirt road it gets up to about 135-145 BPM... What is your average HR doing what activities??? Thanks!

    I just got my HRM yesterday but my resting heart rate was also 80....I walked around a little bit, cleaned up the house and it was like 104 - I did my interval jogging/ running/brisk walking last night (first time with HRM) and my rate went from 125-170 depending on my effort. I don't know if that helps and I don't know how accurate I am on my numbers but that's about where I'm at. Hope this helps.....

    122 lbs - my resting heart rate is about 55. Depends upon the activity - I have to jog to get to 115 and yesterday at at full out run I was able to reach 172 eventually.

    NOTE: I run 5 days a week and I've played flute for about 15 years. I know how to breathe efficiently.

    My resting is under 60. When I work out it can be anywhere from 115-164.
    I don't wear it unless I'm doing a work out.

    When I went to the doctor it was low 50s but I was super relaxed. I am 5ft 7in and before I spin I check and its usually around 65 and then while warming up in the 80s
    Once i get going It never goes under 120 and as high as 180.. The highest you should go they say is 220 minus your age. So I break the rule.. but it comes right down. pushing a stroller is probably around 100-110

    Yes that is normal - HRM more accurate than general guesses on MFP.

    I keep forgetting to take my resting heartrate! I have a heartrate monitor too now (am only on day 5 now using it -- or will be once I get to the gym tonight). I remember in past times at the doctor that my pulse was always 70, but that is probably after walking... so I'll have to remember to take it first thing in the morning.

    My resting heart rate ranges around 60/65 BPM typically. It depends on stress levels, sleep, hormone levels, etc. And it changes with age.

    "The National Institutes of Health state that 60 to 100 beats per minute is considered normal for a resting pulse rate. Any female over 10 years of age should fall within this resting pulse rate range, unless they are well-trained athletically. In this situation, the normal resting heart rate can be as low as 40 to 60 beats per minute, maintains MayoClinic.com."

    My current resting heart rate is around 65. Easy run at 9 min mile, my heart rate is in the 140's, going at a little accelerated pace 8 min mile looking high 150's, and race pace 7-7:30 min miles i am high 170's, low 1 80's

    My resting HR was around 75 when I started on MFP, now it's around 53 if I'm sitting still. Last test had it at 48 so it's changed quite a lot in 612 days!

    Hi, you should not wear your HRM all day, only use it for workouts, if you read the literature it will tell you not to wear it all the time. My RHR is usually around 80 but can be higher depending on my allergy levels, I am 50 and 129lbs.

    I know yesterday, when I did my cardio, my average HR was 157 with my max being 167. My goal would be to get those numbers higher, but at least I'm "in the zone".
