    it caught up to me. you always think that just one more day of bad eating won't hurt. it didn't hurt on the scale the day/night before. but, before you know it, there "IT" is.
    i am battling with myself right now. i was good yesterday, so since i weighed in i can eat today and take it off by weeks end. i am also telling myself that enough of it all. it's just food. it has no control. as the battle rages on. update on the battle at a later time.

    going to finish my computer work and getting on the treadmill while the girls are still sleeping.

    Well the good news is that I think I am back on track. I hope so at least. Still not posting this week. I will wait for the next challenge. Do we have a new name. It's the heat of the summer coming up and I was thinking of the word "Sizzling". Well I am up for some coffee and breakfast. Chat later.

    HI GUYS!!!!! Sorry I didn't have time to post much earlier...but had to report my weigh-in! I am SO SUPER excited!!!! I think I owe this one to the 30-day shred! I have done it every day since I started last week on Wednesday (so yesterday was day 6 level 1) and I must say I LOVE it! I am thinking I will do another few days at level 1 and then bump up to level 2! And I've still been getting in my running (and got some new shoes last night that I am so excited to use today!) So my motivation is stronger than ever right now and I'm hoping to continue losing!!! YAY!!!

    Okay...Amy (baha)....I am praying for you, my dear. Non stop. Keep us posted and let us know whatever we can do for you. **HUGE HUG**

    L-Dark green salad, 1/4 c. shredded cheese, 2 tbsp. almond slices, 1/4 c. chow mein noodles, 3 oz. cooked chicken, spritzer dressing, baby carrots, light yogurt
    S-Pink lady apple
    D-Turkey broil (no bacon), green beans, baked red potato
    S-Watermelon, sugar-free pudding cup

    Exercise plan:
    Shed day 7 level 1, 2 mile run with Kadence

    I have 30 day shred. K you are motivating me to get to it. I also have turbo jam. Maybe I will shred for 30 days to build up my stamina and then lead into Turbo Jam?!

    i see everyone is ready for the next challenge. i will go with what ever name you all choose. DH and i are so tired. all we want to do is sleep. we think it's the heat. and the girls are wearing us out. they are returned on the 4th.
    on of the girls was carrying the dog and she tripped over the toys they left out and fell and hurt her shin and the dog. now the dog is limping around. and taking for all he can. he'll be ok.
    sure am having lots of hot flashes lately. not liking this.

    well off to do what ever and than decide what exercise i am doing today.

    Good morning all. I vote for summer sixtinis too.

    Going to officially weigh in after the gym, but was up 1 lb this week. Actually I'm surprised that is all, and since I still have a week left, I plan to be VERY GOOD. A saying i have heard is "you get what you get 'cause you did what you did". Well I DID eat badly for a week, so i GET the 1 lb weight gain. Time to get back on track.

    I'll check in later.

    Anyone heard from Baha (Amy) yet?

    all this talk about "shreding" i had to do it today.

    day 1 week 1.

    i only get week 1 on exercise on demand. so will have to make do. no buying any more exercise dvds.

    ok, just got email that nephew is coming tomorrow and staying until sun/mon. now i am low on funds and need some CHEAP meal ideas to feed 3 men, 2 kids, me. i have spaghetti, the 4th BBQ, meat loaf, i was thinking tater tot casserole. any ideas.

    Cathy...Hmmm...let's see. A taco soup is easy and feeds a lot. I have a yummy, easy crock pot recipe. Or kabobs on the grill are easy with different meats, veggies, and potatos. It's hard because I rarely feed more than my husband and myself. But if I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

    Oh! And yay for joining me with the shred! Do you like it so far?

    Everyone else...hello!

    AFM: I had a good night last night, but didn't eat so great. Not that I over-ate, but I UNDER-ate. That is SO not me! But I got home late from work, did my shred workout, fed Kadence, went for a run, showered, gave Kadence a bath, then quickly ate a bowl of cereal (at this point it was 8:00PM), and then put Kadence to bed. Then I ate some watermelon and a pudding cup, but that was it as far as food goes. I ended up with about 600 remaining calories with my added in exercise. Oh well. It's very unusual and maybe will shake up my metabolism. But I was happy to get some good exercise in. And I've been increasing my running pace! Love feeling myself getting stronger!

    Plan today:
    B-Multigrain cheerios, skim milk, coffee with sugar-free creamer
    S-Kashi TLC blackberry graham bar, banana
    L-1/2 c. fat free cottage cheese, 15 Kashi TLC Asiago crackers, baby carrots, light yogurt

    D-Teryaki marinaded turkey broil (no bacon), red baked potato, dark green salad with spritzer dressing
    S-Fresh pineapple

    Exercise:

    Well, I know where I screwed up. Last week was a BAD week and a lot of "nervous eating" (my husband calls it). But this week I am determined to get rid of that 1.3 lb to meet my goal for the end of the challenge next. Mind over matter (or food).

    i over did it a little at dinner. we made corn dogs from scratch and they turned out soooo good. i only had two and they were the fat free hotdogs. i had just a few home made fries also. i really did better than i thought now that i am writing it. i did over do it on the small ice cream cone at snack time.

    such a full next couple of days, nephew is coming in tomorrow. so we have son, 2 grands, 1 nephew until sun/mon. DH & i are leaving town while they are all here, JK. need to shop tomorrow for the weekend BBQ.

    off to get the girlies in for the night. they do love the neighborhood kids here. they don't have anyone to play with where they live. daddy is toooo protective and won't let them go to friends houses. since we live on a court with just 12 houses, they run the streets. there are a total of 5/6 kids on the street. than my 2. they have fun.

    stumbled again last night.

    did day 2 week 1 of shred. i will just keep doing that until i figure something else. that's all i got. won't be able to do it until next week again anyway. nephew coming in today, he will be sleeping in the living room. that's the only room i have exercise on demand. will have to do treadmill in the den where no one will be.

    well off to gather my thoughts and plans for the busy day and weekend ahead.

    Cathy - enjoy your time with the family - t he memories are worth all the little sacrifices

    Lorna - Hang in there you can do it, just eat lots of fruit over the 4th, this is my plan I hope it works.

    Kristing - Wow girl nice job on all the work outs,

    AFM - Today will be a better day, still happy we are in a new place but, had a down day yesterday. We are all adjusting and I think it hit me and dd like a ton of bricks with her new sleep schedule. Today I am going to let her play in her room until 7:30 that way she can either be awake or figur out she needs more sleep. Plus we are going to go by some dark curtains for the rooms, so we can actually sleep in the mornings. I do love the natural light just not when I am sleeping.

    I need to get back to working out, so today I am going to get my Wii fit out and give it a go, have more room her and just need to do something.

    Dont know what we are having for dinner tonight yet, I am thinking spaghetti so we will see, have some left over bread sticks so that will make my life easy.

    Hope to go to the library with dd today need to check the schedule see if there is any storytimes we can go to, she loves being around the the other kids, plus it gets us out of the apartment. Also figure we will go to the park for some fun out door time.

    But still have the usualls to do , laundry, dishes, oh and continue to unpack and organize....yeah fun....can you tell I am done with the moving idea now.

    Tracy...Ah...the stress of moving! I hope you and your little one adjust well. Sounds like you have some fun things planned. Enjoy!

    Cathy...Yay for shred day 2!! Just jump back to it once the house is empty again, and get in some treadmill workouts while you can while they're there! You'll do great! And yum! Those corn dogs sounds great! It's been like four years since I've had a corn dog!!

    Lorna...again, you're being accountable...that's awesome!! You'll drop that weight again quickly! Don't worry!

    AFM: Another great evening last night! And I stepped it up! Did Shred day 8 level TWO!!! YAY! And I loved it, even though it is tougher! And believe it or not, I'm not too sore this morning!! I'm SO hoping that I get results from these workouts! Obviously I'm dropping weight, but I hope to also gain some muscle! Already finding this pushups getting easier! YAY! I also got in my run last night...so exercise was good! As far as eating, I did great! Had my turkey broil, a baked red potato, and dark green salad. Then snack was a granola bar, sugar-free popsicle, AND 9 corn chips with 5 tbsp. salsa (and I actually measured!!!) YAY!! Ended up with a couple hundred calories remaining, but felt great! And I drank TONS of water!! I think I am fully back on track, girls! And SO excited about that!!!

    Alright girls I must apolozie for now weighing in this week. I am dragging butt due to my work. All of my customers want their yards all spiffie this week because of the holiday coming up. So I have been working extra long hours and totally have forgotten to even pay attention to the computer let alone the scale. I see that we are all shredding these days...Seems like you all really like it. Now you are motivating me to start again. Maybe I can stay on track with a little encouragemnt from the group. I am going to try to start it again tomarrow and go through the end of the month. So July 2nd - July 31st !!!! I only have one customer to do tomarrow so I shouldn't be so tired. I am not even sure how much I weigh at this time. I know I have been eating on the run lately and not making very good choices. So am sure I am either the same or possibly gained some back. I have been craving alot of salt and as always sugar. I do know I have been drinking lots and lots of water. So no problem there. Exercise I get plenty of from work but not the right kind. So shred is what I need to do! Miss you guys and will start checking in with you more.
