Body Media Fit Link Problems!

My body media fit link won't stay "on" as in collecting data. It keeps chirping that it is off and I have to take it off and readjust. It will work for a whole and then does it again. It's happening 8 to 10 times a day! I'm wearing it correctly. I'm not sure if it is my device or if this is normal. Should I return or exchange it! Thanks!
