March, I seriously was alllll in!! Food on point, salt in check, water 90 oz. a day or more, no soda, sleep ( i have never had a problem here lol) lifting was great and i was so happy to be back to it all month long, cardio was mainly running and hiking and elliptical.
Just a little frustrated that the results were not great !!!
A 3lb. loss, WTF? I normally would not write WTF, but his time it is very very necessary!!
Does this happen to you?
Yes I'm moving on and not down about it, but it does get frustrating don't ya think?
Thoughts, comments, advise?
Reach high and press on peeps!!

This. I'm always amazed at how we think the weight is going to just drop off, 10 pounds all at once (for example). Amazed that we fail to realize that we didn't get fat overnight, and we're not going to get thin overnight either. 3lbs in a month is fantastic!0 -
Also depends on the exact number of calories you're consuming vs calories you're burning.0

This^^^
Your expectations are completely unrealistic. When I was obese I could drop about 5Lbs per month pretty easy...now that I'm within 1% of a healthy BF% I lose about 1.5 - 2 Lbs per month.
The less you have to lose, the more reluctant the body is to drop the fat. Additionally, the less you have to lose, the harder it will be to see scale weight drop because natural body weight fluctuations are more pronounced...so reality is you might have dropped a Lb of fat in a week, but you gained 3 Lbs of water because maybe your workout was extra hard or something...on the scale it would thus not be evident that you lost the 1 Lb of fat.
According to the scale, today I am 6 Lbs heavier than I was at the end of February...but an inch around my waist is gone...and that's what matters. I store a lot of water and glycogen with my workout routine.0 -
Focus on the part where you said, "I was so happy."0

Agree with above, 3 pounds is AWESOME!!! When getting near my goal, if I lost a pound a month, I was doing well.0

The scale isn't the only measure of success, remember that. ESPECIALLY if you are lifting, that will mess with your number on the scale.
Measure inches, take progress pictures, see how your clothes fit. Don't just use the scale to measure your results. Or you'll probably just end up sad and wondering WTF.0
