Egg Free help!

I stopped eating eggs by themselves 3 years ago, and recently I started feeling weird after eating baked/fried/anything containing eggs. So I got an allergy test done yesterday and I have a severe egg allergy. The doctor prescribed me an epi pen and told me to stop eating eggs altogether. And start reading the packages of everything.

I LOVE to bake and cook, how can I bake and cook with no eggs? Please help and give me tips..

    My coworker uses tofu as an egg substitute. She made cupcakes recently. I can't stay I love the taste, but the consistency of the finish product is still the same.

    You can make your own egg alternatives (have a look on google they have different ones for different things) or you can buy this product called ... No egg...... it's by a company called Orgran it is egg free also free from, wheat, so, dairy, yeast and it is vegan as well! You can even make meringue and it is actually the picture on the front!! My boys can't have egg and one has the epi pen! It is hard to adjust at first but now it is just second nature!! The only problems we have now are BBq's and eating out cause just about every dressing sauce has egg in it and we have had a reaction at a place were the egg had been previously cooked and they used the same egg flip :0 so cross contamination is a major problem = we really don't eat out at all now!

    ground flax seed can be used in many cases in baked goods. just ate some brownies, completely eggless.
    it makes the baked good a little harder to rise, depending on how much you used.
    in my experience, if it's just a 'flax egg' the difference is negligible.
    can make muffins, pan cakes, cake, no problem
    results in a very tasty fudgy brownie :love: :tongue:

    1-1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil mixed with 1-1/2 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon baking powder per egg, would this work in cookies? I have the ingredients for it, but not for any of the other replacements. I've been looking for a mayo recipe, but they all look super gross! lol
