Guess no one likes to party or lives near Vegas on here!0

I used to live in Vegas and go quite often to see friends and family. Party in Vegas is redundant lol. It all depends on what you want to do before I can make any recommendations. June will be hot, I can tell you that much.0

I went to Vegas in 2003, stayed in the Luxor. I'm English and I think the partying thing there seemed pretty tame to be honest! When I went it was July and very, very hot (47 celcius) but everywhere is air conditioned so it's fine!0

We're there in May, Vegas Elvis wedding and all!0

Hey, husband and I have just booked for a week in August!
Our package includes a helicopter night trip down the strip, and I've booked a one day tour to Grand Canyon South including a sunset. For the rest, I'm sort of happy to go with the flow. Husband likes to have some "aimless wandering" time when we're on holidays, which goes against my grain - I reckon why travel half way round the world to somewhere you may never be again, and just dander about with no plan!
For the big shows, I'm not fussed about Celine Dion or Elton John, I'm sure we can find something when we're there. We're not big gamblers, but we'll visit a casino or 2. Sipping cocktails by the pool sounds good.0 -
We just came back from Vegas a few days ago! You are going to love it! Play the Hangover slot machine for me!0
-
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas apparently so ill be lettin loose n hittin every party scene they have. Staying at Hard Rock n Ive read they have massive pool parties there0

Shelton are you on trip advisor? There's a whole LV section on there with lots of recommendations.0
-
if you are single hard rock is the place to stay. IMO
If you play poker Aria is the best poker casino. Awesome poker room.
Bellagio, well its Bellagio. Awesome casino.
If you are looking for cheap fun and casinos. Hit freemont st.0 -

HAVE FUN! Hard Rock is the best time in Vegas. Off the strip a bit but the whole beach area/ pools areas/ cabanas are the best. If budgets not an issue rent a cabana early & have a little party with your friends if anyones going with you. Tao is great, Ghost Bar, etc etc etc. Lots of fun "divey" type bars around too. Hit the Bellagio & Venetian as well, you'll love em. The Wynns great too, go pick up a new Ferrari in the lobby
Have FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!0 -

if you gonna be there on a Sunday hit up rehab....its a pool party0 -
No not on trip advisor
Yes im single hence why I booked at HRH. Looks awesome esp in Summer with pool parties!
Def gonna check out Rehab!!
Not really a poker player or a gambler just wanna have some fun
Which nightclubs do you guys suggest? Want my 5 days in Vegas to be jam packed with crazy fun!!0 -
Club wise check out ghost bar, haze, and moon. All the clubs are good if thats your scene (not my thing, I'm more of a bar/pub kind of guy). If that's your style, check out hogs and hiefers (biker bar - fremont st), blue martini (a bit off the strip, but lots of singles go there, minus 5 bar (cool concept), Insert Coin (video game bar, good for day drinkin and relaxing a bit), the list goes on and on. Food wise, there's a lot of great buffets in all the casinos, but twin peaks just opened up (sports bar, think hooters but better and with a rock climbing wall)
If you're into electro music, rebook your tickets and go to EDC that following weekend. I went a couple years ago, and it's amazing.0 -
I will be here may 1st thru the 6th
I go once a year and It is such a blast.
I personally LOVE old town (fremont street) hey always have a queen cover band playing and a zip line you can go on.
I am not a fan of clubs so I don't have suggestions for that.
all I know is you will have a a BLAST! no matter what you do0 -
Thanks for all the input so far!
I dont mind a bit of dance music but more an rnb kinda guy...dunno if any of the clubs there cater for that though.
Im going to D.L Hughley stand up on the 15th and Eddie Griffin on the 17th. 16th and 18th will probably be random clubbing nights. Def wanna check out a tour of Grand Canyon as well and I've been told theres some awesome shopping outlets just out of Vegas.0 -

Too bad ur not there June 15-19 lol0 -
If you are into playing craps Casino Royale is your place. $3 dollar tables during the day and free drinks (just tip the waitress). DONT buy food from your hotel, there are countless i mean countless places much cheaper on the strip. If you are into shooting there is a range nearby where you can shoot full auto . There is also skydiving available (indoor and outdoor). California is not too far away (depending on where you want to go). Lock up your credit cards and debit cards and only take a LIMITED amount of money with you. Good luck and have fun. The club scene is ridiculous...TAO and many others that I don't even remember LMAO.0

Vegas.... cannot wait to go back and do all the stupid things I always do lol
Such a great time!0 -

Craps sound fun! Will def give it a try! How much would be a sufficient amount of cash for a night out? I've heard many times about not carrying too much cash or credit cards. Didnt realise it would be that bad out there! Esp the fact I have a 2.5km walk each night back to my hotel alone! Where can I buy a gun? JOKES!!0 -
make sure you go to the pink taco great restaurant at hard rock.
Find your way to freemont st. super cheap games (compared to the strip)
Another great restaurant is Battista's hole in the wall. Great italian restaurant. http://www.battistaslasvegas.com/
I love Vegas been there 4 times in last 3 years. Night clubs arent my scene but im not sure you will find a bad one lol.0 -

If you're a sushi lover, dont forget Nobu at the HRH. Fat Choy (Old Teddys) is awesome too. SO much good good good food for any budget in Vegas.
Tao is a blast. Ghost Bar is a blast. Get bottle service if youre able! We always hit Davies Locker & the DD Saloon for more low key bars as well.
Rehab, etc is always a blast. But if you dont have a host that can walk u in, get in line early!
Hit the gondolas at the Venetian and HYDE and THE BANK at Bellagio. So fun!
Cabs are everywhere in vegas. You really wont need to walk if youre drunk if you dont want. Theres a cab stand in front of EVERY hotel & casino. You may have to wait a few min on busy club nights, but theyre worth it to go door to door!
And I always love going to Circus Circus. It just reminds me of an old carnival & may not be the "nicest" casino, but it has flavor!
Explore & HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill be on the strip again in 2 weekends & I cannot wait! Try to drive down monthly from LA!!!0 -
Double post some magical way0

Craps are AWESOME. You can win big or just sit back and enjoy the free drinks. If you know how to play it right, you can really stretch your money. Like 2 days ago I played with 40 dollars and played for 3.5 hours. I certainly got my drinks worth out of it Of course I did tip the waitress0 -
I read this as "Vegans in June" sorry.0

Lol i think Vegas in June sounds more appealing somehow.
Thanks for all the input everyone...cant wait for June!0 -
Since we are talking about Vegas, where is a good place for Blackjack?0
-
Those of you with Vegas experience: Would you recommend I buy my tickets to D.L Hughley stand up comedy now or will there be cheaper tickets available closer to the event? Dont want to miss good seats!0

Well that depends, when you are walking through Vegas. You will get BOMBARDED with both porn (Call girls) and "cheap tickets." I forgot the name of the company who does it.
While the cheap tickets are sometimes a good deal, if you can buy them now, it's better. A lot of people get sucked into the cheap ticket crap and end up getting ripped off. I've been to vegas more times than I can count and usually I can get cheaper tickets from somewhere else.
Do NOT get suckered into that thing.
EDIT: Oh they also do dinner reservations at a "discount." Same thing, don't get suckered into it, ask your hotel for coupons and deals. The hard rock especially has good deals throughout Vegas.0 -

Eh, that doesn't really matter as all table games are the same throughout Vegas.0
