    forget those dang scales!!!

My number one victory - I just flat out feel 100% better than I did a few months ago. YAY on that!

    1. I had to throw my "air dry only" jeans into the dryer to shrink them up!

    2. I haven't given up on the couch to 5k program even though it burns my lungs.

    3. Fit in a shirt last week that was previously too big for my fat arms.

it was an embarressing victory but a victory non the less, saturday i was putting my daughter to bed and i had picked her up as high as i could and my pants fell down to my ankles. can't go without belts anymore. thankfully it was just me and my 3 year old and i really don't think she cared. lol.

I can bench 225 now, keep the treadmill at 8-10mph for a solid 30 mins, and look damn good in my army uniform again. I also did 4 weeks of giant sets and my buddy couldn't even complete one session (not proud of him failing just that i could out do someone who was supposed to be way fitter than me). I can aslo wear out my 7 year old. Thats not easy as he is crazy! Lol! I am now studying to be a PT due to how much I love helping ppl get in shape. I have also made some awesome and supportive friends on here.
Over all i am very proud of all my non scale accomplishments.

    Amen.

I have not lost any weight, but here's to losing one cup size and being able to fit into one size smaller pants!

I finally retired my favorite fat jeans. They nearly fell to my ankles when I was walking my dog across the street!

What a GREAT idea! I was wondering about this the other day...

    I'm proud that I...
-- exercised three days in a row!
-- am consistently making better food choices

I have tons more energy! I love going to the gym (thats a victory for me because I use to hate working out). I can play just dance on the Wii for almost longer than my 13 your old daughter! That one is HUGE!!! I have "me" back! The scale sucks, but I couldn't be happier!!!

I woke up with very sore thighs for the first time in a couple months, which means I worked them HARD last night! I'm very excited.

I started viewing vacuming the pool as an enjoyable experience -- extra calorie burning activity!

I'm trying to focus more on fitness goals this time instead of "weight loss" goals. I get too wrapped up when it doesn't come off fast and I feel like I'm really working hard. My goals are consistency (working out at least 5 days a week), staying at or below my calorie alottment for the day, and working back up to running again (with my ultimate fitness goal being to run and finish a half-marathon someday). Good luck and keep up the good work!
  • I feel better that I'm eating clean, nothing processed. I feel a little bit tinier...even though I've lost 5 lbs total...starting from 130, trying to get to 115. I just FEEL better. And I can't wait to see the results! Almost 2 weeks going, and I've done amazing! I'm just happy.

A stranger at the mall told me that my butt looked great in the skirt I was trying on! I am in a size that would have been too small for me in High School, I can go for long hikes and not get winded, I am starting to run a bit and I didn't think that would ever be possible.
I feel healthy and fit and younger. I am happier and a better mother to my 2 daughters!!!

    1. actually getting my butt out of bed at 5am to get a workout in. HUGE accomplishment for me! haha!

    2. shorts don't fit this summer. I started having a toddler meltdown when I realized that none of my shorts fit me, then my husband reminded me "hey, isn't this a good thing? Why are you crying?" My reply "i don't have enough money to buy new shorts, but I want to." Then he started to giggle and then I did too, when I realized how crazy it looked that I was crying cause I had lost weight. HaHa! In the meantime I got a nice belt for the remainder of the summer and will try to buy 3-4 sizes smaller next summer! Heck yes!

    3. No longer feel "too fat" to go to the gym in public.

    4. Currently training for a Half Marathon, never thought I would do that.

    5. Being more creative with my cooking!! Eating healthy has forced me to become an actual cook-- with recipes I can now call my own :) Score!

I love non-scale victories, since the scale hasn't been my friend in a while. I've made it a goal not to step on him for a few weeks. I'll prove him wrong!!!
