New Goal=Less food

When I first started using MFP I weighed 145.5 pounds (5ft 7inch tall). My goal was two lose 10 pounds (one pound a week/working out 4 times a week). Now that I have reached that goal I want to lose 5 more pounds.. but now MFP has me eating less. I think before my calorie intake was 1330 and now I'm at 1270 (or something like that).
My question is, why? Why can't I just continue having 1330 daily calorie intake rather than having less to eat? I can barely make it through the day eating that! How could I possibly eat less?
Note:My diary is open.. but as you can tell there are days where I don't record what I eat (mainly one weekends). Too busy. But most of what you see is pretty much how it is.

You probably can and still lose, just not at the same rate. Change the setting to half a pound a week and that will probably change things.
Also, I'm too lazy to look at your diary, just being honest witchu.0 -
you eat less at a lower weight because your body needs less energy to move you around... it's only a 60 calorie difference so it really should not make or break you0

If you only have 5 lbs to lose, try a less aggressive goal of .5 lbs/week. You'll get to have more food (read: more energy).0

p.s. suggestion for how to cut the 60kcal - eliminate the peanut butter on crackers and just eat all-natural peanut butter directly on the fruit that you are also eating for that snack.0

Have you read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
I was always hungry past what MFP told me to eat - and I'm fairly active. After taking the time to go through the above - I found out that the calories my body wanted were spot on for what I needed. I eat between 2000 - 2300 a day depending on my activity level. I'm 36, 5 ft. 8 and close to my goal weight - and continue to lose.0 -
You need to change your weight loss rate. Instead of 1lb (?) a week, aim for 0.5 lbs a week.
MFP is just a calculator. It takes your BMR based on your weight, adds in your activity level, and then spits out a deficit based on how quickly you tell it you want to lose weight. It doesn't account for a proper loss rate based on how much weight you have left to lose. It can't tell you if that's enough calories to make you feel good and give you enough energy. Use it as a guide, not as law. If you're hungry, weak, and miserable, eat more.0 -
You're a smaller person, you require less food.0

Thank you guys for your suggestions. I didn't even check if there was an option to lose half a pound a week honestly!
Diary: Don't worry about not readind my diary. It's just there if you need it to give me proper adivce!
Peanut butter: I hate peanut butter and the only way I can eat it is with crackers.
I'll be reading the post and I pray it helps as much as it has helped you Jamimari777!0
