Day two of eating (mostly) clean

And my stomach is KILLING me. Is it because I'm finally putting good food in my body, or is it the salad dressing that's not "clean" that's bothering me? Anyone else have this problem when they started out?

What is eating clean exactly? I am fairly new to the community and have seen the term but not sure exactly what it means.0

IF I am correct (and I may not be lol) it's avoiding processed foods and the chemicals in them. I read somewhere earlier that "if it's a plant, it's ok to eat, if it comes from a plant (factory), it's not". Basically I am overloading on the salads and brown rice and fruits, but I'm using Olive Garden salad dressing, which has lots of non-natural ingredients. So I'm wondering if it's the dressing or the huge intake of healthy foods after so long of not eating healthy.0 -

It's probalby putting the veggies/fruit and rice in all after leaving them out. Your diet probably went from relatively low fibre to high fibre. Give your gut some time to adjust. If you're eating a lot of cruciferous vegetables that can cause gas pain and bloating. Remember to drink lots of water and try to break your meals down into smaller meals every 2-3 hours, I find this helps. Keep Up the Clean Eating!!0 -
my philosophy is if you cant pronounce or know what an ingrediant is, then you probably shouldnt eat it. i too could not get rid of my salad dressing...but you are probably eating so many fruits and veggies your body is bloated and full of gas. remember you can eat lean protein too and whole grains. maybe a gradual change would be easier on your body than a drastic one...0
