Do 10 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 9 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 8 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 7 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 6 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 5 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 4 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 3 burpees
Walk across the room and back
Do 2 burpees

the next time you complete this sequence you will replace the burpee with squat thrusts, or pull ups/pushups...or add your own spin on it.

Burpees basically combine a squat, pushup, and vertical leap. Think about the amount of mass (your entire body weight) you move over a large distance (your full height plus the height of your vertical leap) and you’ll understand just how many calories you can quickly burn with this exercise. To do the Burpee:

    1. Start in a standing position

    2. squat down and put your hands on the floor.

    3. kick both legs back at the same time ( you are now in a pushup position ).

    4. bring both legs back under you, towards your hands, and jump up in the air.

    This is 1 fast movement

Oh wow. Can I try doing them like "walking pushups" instead? I don't think I'd be able to do that just yet.

Try the burpee..if it's too hard at first, absolutely modify it, but try each time to get one in! the good thing is it will give you a goal to achieve, this workout is harder then it seems! lol..good luck!

Looks great, although I personally hate burpees :P I only do them when the instructor asks in gym classes and everyone stares at me because my rubbish knees make this hideous crunching sound... it's not nearly as painful as it sounds!! haha

Sounds good! Will give this a try later when the other half goes to the gym - lucky sod we don't have a babysitter to go at the same time!

I do dislike burpees too but know how good they are for the body so will give it a go!
