Musicians.. Pictures of your instruments?

I'm a guitarist and a drummer.. I unfortunately only have one though. It's an acoustic Gibson. Lovely little thing, it is.
Who needs a woman, when you have a perfectly good instrument that lets you play with it, no need for consent?
What do you play?

Here's a picture of my ebony beauty.

They make quite the beautiful sound, don't they?
I enjoy playing acoustic over electric, but every now and then I bust some heavy riffs. It's an adrenaline rush when you jam out.

I read that wrong at first.. I thought it was about to take a turn for the naughty.
Why no horn? Musicians without instruments have it the worst. :\

I also have an Ovation Celebrity.

Honestly, though, since I got the Taylor a few years ago, it's what i predominantly play.

Let's see, here is our collection. Only thing missing is the Ludwig kit, and multiple amps, mics & recording equipment! haha!

My husband has been a bassist 25+ years and a drummer/singer for almost as long. Years ago he played in an Atlanta based hardcore band called Animosity. They toured Atlanta & Birmingham area with a band called F.U.C.T. who is still around and several other hardcore/thrash bands in the early 90's. His collection, but I bought about 3/4 of it......the joy of working at a music store! haha! Me, I am an old marching band geek who likes to dabble in singing.

Music is a HUGE part of our lives, I think we'd cease to exist without it!

Well hell's bells & cocker shells, the guitars got chopped off in my last pic, guess you can't post landscape shots.......

    Mark15.jpg

From left to right front row:
Schecter 4-string Diamond Series w/ ghost flames, Fender 4-string HWY-1 Jazz red stain, 1978 4-string Fender Music Master short neck (This was his first bass, it was the only thing he saved from a house fire when he was 16! It was originally black. It was really badly damaged by the smoke, he completely restored & refinished it by himself)

Middle left to right: Alvarez 4-string Jazz, 5-string Cort

    Back: 4-string Sammick acoustic/electric

Ampeg Head with vintage Fender tube cabinet

5 piece Ludwig drum kit with multiple symbols & double bass

and many other miscellaneous pieces of equipment!
