What to do?

I've woken up this morning and all I want to do is eat and not good stuff either!!! Actually since 4 days off (We stayed with friends and this meant I had no control over the amount of oil used, what was cooded etc and we went out one night for drinks) over Easter I've really struggled to get back into the swing of healthy eating.
I do struggle to to stay within my calories unless I exercise, i'm sure i'll be ok and just suck it up. Use work as a distraction etc and I'll go to the gym after work but what does everyone else do when you wake up on those mornings and all you want to do eat the baddest things you can get your hands on?
Help please!

Sometimes I will do a small compromise like just take a bite or two of something that is really fattening or too sweet. Sometimes I go for it, again in moderation.0

Large tubs of yogurt that only add up to around to 200 or so cals. I find eating the whole thing turns me off food for more of the day. Add some bananas or protein powder or cereal if you wish to make it a meal instead of a snack.0

When this happens I call it a Fat Attack or Fat Fit. What I do is have a serving of the 'bad' food I'm craving. Then I go do something else. Exercise, read a book, work on one my projects (writing, sewing, etc.), cleaning/organizing, something physically or mentally active for about 20 minutes. By then the serving of the junk you ate has hit your brain and that helps calm you a little. Plus it stops you from feeling deprived. Also, drink a glass of really cold water as fast as you can. That also helps. If after 20 minutes you still feel like you JUST HAVE TO HAVE another serving of chips, cookies, whatever, or you'll DIE, then get out of the house. Go for a walk or something for 10 minutes. I say 10 because usually Fat Fits pass in 30 minutes, so combined with the previous 20...
Once your Fat Attack has passed, remind yourself that you didn't overeat on cookies, chips, whatever and you didn't die. Every time you do this, you become stronger. It really does get better. I hardly ever have that feeling like I'm going to DIE unless I stuff my face anymore.0 -
Try to get even a little exercise in, because I'm like you, if I exercise my appetite doesn't bother me as much. Try to find something else to think about, by reading a book, watching TV, play some music & dance around your house, a project, something you have to think about. Force yourself to record EVERYTHING you eat in MFP, sometimes the idea of having to look up several things I don't usually eat will keep me from eating them. Sometimes I'll drink water (as much as I hate it) until I feel uncomfortably full, so I don't feel like eating anything. If I REALLY can't stand it, I'll try to eat something that fills me up w/minimal calories...low fat popcorn, celery, cucumber, lettuce. But probably more than anything else the water seems to help. Call a friend & go for a walk. Hang in there...0
