LADIES - let's talk backless shirts for a second

I have actually just found the most gorgeous shirt I've ever seen. It's vintage-style, beige with puffy sleeves and an open back.

But I can't go outside without a bra on. What else can I do??

    buy a low back bustier, or one of those bras that is convertible to be worn with low backs.

    I don't know how busty you are, but when I was thinner I used the silicone sticky bras. I've also been know to use tape. The stars to it, why not you?

    the thing that you stick on lol.. dont know what they're called. but they work. As long as you dont have huge knockers

    I 2nd the vote for a cute bra and let it show.

    Lots of cute options for sports bras if you are uncomfortable wearing an actual bra that shows.

    you kinda have 6 options
    get a bra with a silicon clear back strap (but they look tacky)
    get a bra that kinda does up around your waist (probably the best option)
    get one of those stick on bra things without a back strap
    get nipple stickers
    if appropriate wear to the beach a put bikini on under
    give it to me as i really want a backless top :P

    Can you show us a picture as to what you maybe refering to? Would a spaghetti tank top work? .. if I had a visual I could give you more advice.

    Nah the only time I go bra-less is when I'm at home. I dont like chafed knees, LOL! I think we need a pic of the shirt though...but thats just cuz I love clothing porn.

    Convertible bra or those stickies I have seen them for DD cups but I dont know if they work.

    What size are you? I have the same issue of not being able to go without a bra because my boobs are just too big. I love the Victoria Secret link that someone put but if you are above a C cup like I am personally it won't work.

    I have done backless before and I normally just try to find a bra that matches in color and has lace or something on the back and let it show.

    ummm....little word of warning on the sticky nipple covers....whatever you do, do not come home after a drink or two (or 6 or 8 or 10) and rip them off..... the words 'bloody nipples' should convey what may happen.....:sad:

    I'm quite large and not only do I look unperky without a bra, I also get a sore back. :(

    Here is a DIY bra for backless shirts - it basically looks like part of the shirt because it is 3 straps running across your back instead of the typical hook/loop section:

    that's a good idea. if it goes with a little lacy bralette or some type of layer. I can't go out without a bra either my girls need to be covered up and supported.
