Hi Guys,

I am confused, I have had a very had weekend with Easter and going away to celebrate a birthday. But I am trying to plan next weeks meals. I am on a big push now for the next 2 months to try and lose about a stone.

My diary is open and to be honest, looking back its very bad for the past week. But I am not in the frame of mind and cant seem to shift this mental block.

What I want to know is what people eat for breakfast, packed lunch and dinner? I am not fussy with food, apart from fish where I only like cod/haddock and prawns :( and I am tight on time as I work, try to exercise and also study part time (after work). I try not to eat to much processed food too.

I guess what I am saying is, what do you eat because I need inspiration of healthy, quick, cheap meals

cheers

Jon

general staples I like to keep on hand are -

    eggs
    cottage cheese
    greek yogurt
    whole rolled oats
whole wheat bread (or bread of your choice)
    turkey breast
    peanut butter
    nuts, seeds
    chicken breasts
    cheeses
turkey bacon (holy sodium I know!!)
    fresh fruits
    fresh veggies
    low fat frozen yogurt
    frozen blueberries
    frozen pitted cherries
    baked regular and sweet potatoes
Nature valley peanut butter and dark chocolate protein bars

Hard boiled eggs and greek yogurt are a great on the go breakfast! Along with a banana or apple.
Turkey or tuna sandwiches for lunch and some baked chips on the side as a 'treat'.
Vanilla greek yogurt tastes heavenly with frozen blueberries on top
baked potatoes are delicious with cottage cheese on top and a sprinkle of parmeson cheese.

grilled chicken breasts for dinner, grilled veggies

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Baked potatoes with cottage cheese and a little parmesan cheese sounds amazing, will add that to the meal planner.

    Thank you.
