Does anybody know of any blogs about the paleo diet? I started 4 days ago and want to know what to expect. and see if what I am feeling is related to the diet.

A guide on what to expect day-by-day if you follow the Whole30, a more restrictive or clean version of Paleo.

I have been following Paleo since January 11th. I've lost 15 pounds so far. I have a way to go but feel great! No grains, no sugar and no processed foods was very hard in the beginning. I take food with me every where I go because I never know what is available. One MUST plan with this lifestyle or you're setting yourself up for failure.

One of my favorite sites is: stupideasypaleo.com/

they have some GREAT super easy recipes on this site.

I only just started using my fitness pal app again because I didn't want to worry about watching calories while making the shift to this way of eating. Now that I've been pretty much 100% on the Paleo way of eating I'm watching more my carb and fiber intake. Not so much the calories.

Good luck with your Paleo lifestyle. I know it's way much more than a temporary diet.

Check out the Balanced Bites website and podcasts! The podcasts are new weekly and very informative. There is also a book Diane wrote called Practical Paleo.

    paleomg

=I started this diet and lost 5 pounds the first week, I've come up with some good recipes too. The first few days are tough but I don't crave carbs or sugar anymore. Oook maybe I ate a twizzler during a particularly hormonal time of the month but still doing well.

if you are hungry... then eat. that's one of the ideas behind primal/paleo.

I have run across several but they are all different. You can expect variations of all kinds with this because of what the diet is based on. One version will allow nuts, another wont. One will allow coffee, another wont. etc... I was going to try this one, but the wobbly nature of the diet itself turned me away.

A friend of mine has her own paleo blog. I'm not paleo (love dairy way too much), but she has some pretty tantalizing recipes.
