Chicken Sausage/Broccolini and Orrechiette

A healthy take on an old classic (I hate broccoli rabe, hence the broccolini)
Serves 4.

1tbsp olive oil
4 Italian Chicken Sausage Links
3 Cups Fresh Broccolini
3 Cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 cup orrechiette pasta, cooked
1/4 cup chicken broth
Red pepper flakes (if desired)

Heat medium nonstick skillet on high. Cut links out of their casings and crumble into hot pan. Cook sausage until no longer pink and well carmelized. Transfer to plate and return pan to heat. Add olive oil, red pepper flakes and garlic, cook until garlic is softened. Add broccolini and cook until just soft. Return chicken sausage to pan and add chicken broth. Cover, simmer for 6-8 mins.

When pasta is done cooking, add to pan with a ladle of the pasta water. Toss everything and serve!
