Does anyone else watch the biggest loser!?

I just started watching it this week and i'm addicted!! They inspire me, I wish I was going hardcore at it like them. I don't feel like i'm changing at all! But does anyone else love it!?

I live in Oz, so yep, definitely watching it!

I strongly dislike the way the trainers are talking to the participants, putting them down, but I do think some of the contestants need tough love. You can give tough love without putting someone down, it's all about tact.

    Yes.
I watch it every time it's on.
Results the contestants get, the trainers and the activity courses they do keep me watching the show.
Though I'm not a fan of the whining sob stories by the contestants my god is it embarrassing.
    (Grown adults crying. LOL.)

I watch it more for the entertainment value and to dispell some of the myths that the diet and fitness industry pass on to the public.
For example the last BL winner apparently gained 19lbs of muscle in 8 months. BS based on the actual numbers provided.
But it is inspirational for many morbidly obese who can see that surgery doesn't have to be the only option to lose weight.

Yes!!! Are you talking about the Australian one? I know they are big people but is eating 1000 cals a day and exercising that many hours healthy? What about this starvation mode? I really like the green team jerry & Todd you can tell they are ready for it. Seem like such nice guys as well.

I find Michelle can be the rudest, at least Shannon and Commando are tactful about their 'tough love'.

Though I found it hilarious when Michelle said something about Kevin/Brett (not sure which one) had to either man up or go down p*ssy street.

I'll give em credit this year for trying to bring to light the issues with childhood obesity. I think they handled it quite well.
  • Yes! I thought they did a great job and were very sensitive to the kids needs.
  • I love Gerry & Todd! Seem like such nice guys, always encouraging everyone else! :)

I really want todd and Gerry to win!!! It was very funny when Michelle said that lol. I think commando is getting soft this year handing out hugs etc lol.
This is the Australian one Jillian is on the American one
I like the fact the trainers refused to vote good on them.
Wow that Rosemary one is nuts!!
