When I have so many things that should be motivating me, from support to health problems. Sometimes I ask myself what is the problem I am having I feel like I should be put in a fat camp or something I have no discipline and do not know where to get it from. I love food of course who doesn’t... not really and emotional eater... I just sometimes over eat... it seems like I'm always making excuses for myself and I know this is not good. I need help but do not know where to start... I am very hard headed so I need something like a drill sergeant...where do I get the kind of help I need... is there any one else like me out there I'm sure it is but then a gain who wants to admit all those things....its not like I don’t know what to do it just that I choose not too so sad right I know....really don’t like talking to my family or friends about it cause I just get mad at them for wanting to help sounds foolish but I guess I have deal with the realization and the consequences that are going to appear for my wrong actions. Any ways I'm venting hoping someone else out there feels my pain.

Hi!! Look its hard to lose weight but its possible and it doesn't even need to take that long. What if you could be down most of the way by Christmas? Wouldn't it be worth a few months of sacrifice? Choose to make the sacrifice of a few months to feel better for the rest of your life. I was just shy of 33 when I started this and the 100lbs did go away and it does feel so much better. You can do this!0

That it is. I cannot give you my motivation but perhaps you can find your own. I have a friend who wanted to go to comicon as a female superhero this year. The outfits are somewhat revealing so it has been her motivation to trim down. What are you looking forward to? If you don't have something about a year out then perhaps you can find something. I needed to trim down for a wedding that was about 8 months from the day I started the diet. Having a set time when I would either succeed or fail gave me a little push everytime I felt like cheating.0

you have a good point there.... my anniversary is in august...its not a long term goal but it is a short one and i would love to just feel sexy again by wearing some serious lingerie...but my birthday is a year out in march and i would love to wear a short skirt again.0 -
Motivation doesn't last, habits do.
So get those thoughts out of your head "i need to be motivated." No you don't, you just have to do it, that's all.
Habits are built over time, and they are built gradually. Start logging and go from there, turn that in to a habit, then focus on hitting your calorie goals, once you got that down, focus on exercise. It takes time,, and baby steps. So be patient.
i started logging yesterday even the bad things i ate and what ever exercise i did... you are right i just have to do it....only person i seem to listen to is myself anyways so i guess i better start talking and doing. i need to form new and better habits i will start on that...guess if i just take time and stop trying to see quick results i will eventually see results. patients is the key guess i need to aquire some0 -

I talked to many people who have lost over 100lbs, we always don't agree on our method. Some people may do low carb, some may not(this is an example). But we all agree on 1 thing, that you have to be patient. That can't be stressed enough. It's probably the most important thing in weight loss next to hitting your calorie goals.
If you get impatient, you will probably try to starve yourself, or exercise like crazy to get results, that's a recipe for disaster. Or you can take the other route, You might do things right but not see the results as quickly as you like and just give up all together. I recommend orget about weight loss and focus on improving your health and fitness.
i definetely need to forget about weight loss and improve my overall health i heard this saying do not diet but form a lifestyle change so this i will focus on life changing habits0 -

yes that is why i posted i knew i wasnt the only one its just sometimes it is easier to talk to strangers than your friends and family....because they dont know you and they can be more honest and blunt with out worrying about the relationship status...i need and want feed back from people who don't care if i get mad at them lol sorry to say like that but it is real.. my family will give up faster because they dont want to deal with emotions or attitudes its easy to make them side with me and buy me cheese cake....then them telling me no lol0 -
im feeling much better about changing my life and all i can do is start here and take it one day at a time0
