OK so I used IPOARM to get cals and macros; I get 1741 cals and macros are 65/20/15; I am 5'4.5" weighing 146ish, just wondering how everyone else's data looked? I am worried that I might be on the wrong track. I weigh-in tomorrow so I guess well see?!? =)

What are your macros based on? I would increase your protein and fat... As for your calorie goal, how long have you been eating at 1741? IPOARM takes a while to get going and overall it is a slower weightloss program BUT it is great for giving you enough energy to train hard at the gym and feel energetic. And is great for actually losing fat versus muscle

When I filled out the Excel IPOARM sheet - it told me to use those macros. I am going to remeasure and try again today. It is so complex to me trying to figure it out!!! Thanks so much for responding!

I use IPOARM but don't use the spreadsheet. I set my macros according to the info in the thread, so 40/30/30 carbs/fat/protein. The whole process has been working great for me - been eating this way for over a year with fabulous results. :)

Edited to add: I ate at TDEE minus 20%, which is 1800 for me, for a year. Hit goal weight and adjusted to between a 10-15% cut from TDEE, so eating at 1950 now. Still doing great with it!

Thanks for sharing, I will retry when I get a bit of time to recalculate, because it takes a while to do all that measuring, but it has been almost a month, so I am due, hoping for improvements!!!
