Okay guys riddle me this....I have been sore since I started doing exercise monday, I took it down a notch after tues., and I am still sore today. It is tolerable and I really don't want to just sit and rest all day I feel like that is such a waste. It is more my upper body/arms from weight training at the gym tues. I find stretching/yoga really makes me feel good and helps with the soreness. I want to atleast do that and maybe take a walk. Who here has actually experienced this and gone through it and has factual personal information on their experience that might help me make my decision on todays activity? Oh and is it okay to constantly be sore for like the first week or 2?

Doing some light exercise will help you get over the soreness faster, so yes, do that. And you probably will be at least a little sore for the first couple of weeks, but you'll be surprised how quickly your body adapts. If you do total rest every time you feel soreness, you won't get over that first adjustment period, so keep going!

Agreed, the more you move the better you'll feel. Push through it, if you rest you'll be back to sq 1. Good luck!
