My cousin was talking to me about these yesterday and says they are great.
I looked it up and saw it was on that Dr. Oz show which I never really watch so im not sure how reliable that is.
Has anyone ever heard of or tried these?
Thanks

I agree with both!0

Just eat raspberries....or blueberries...or strawberries...or blackberries. Your body will appreciate it.0

No. You can't buy weight loss.
I'm sure there are gonna be at least 15-20 other replies just bashing it and Oz, and rightly so.
Eat a deficit, move more, stop believing/buying into programs.0 -
You're about to get slaughtered for asking LOL. Sorry! In general, MFP users are anti- Dr. Oz and his "quick fixes"0

Are you a rat? As they have only been shown to be effective in rats when eating 1-2% of their bw in raspberry ketones0 -
I have my degree in Nutrition Science and have read the scientific journal articles involving studies on raspberry ketones. It's bull****, don't buy it.0

Heard of them.
There is no reliable scientific evidence whatsoever, that PROVES (important word, proof, not a link to somewhere selling it that says it works) that it burns fat, or helps with weight loss.

Anything you buy over the counter is worthless (rule of thumb).
Eat raspberries. They are nothing but good for you, are filling and not too expensive. You won't get a boat load of ketones, but you really don't need them.
Just working on getting enough calcium, vitamin D and B12. I also take Vitamin E.Getting the proper nutrition is important.0 -

This. Dr. Oz is a quack.
he is and if you read the fine print he says taking them rectally is better than taking them orally.0 -

I'm with Cheryl, above, B12 and D is the way to go. These are the 2 vitamins I make sure to take. As far as Dr. Oz...I tried to take fish oil/krill oil for my thyroid as it was "supposed" to help. The Krill Oil made me feel funny and I stopped taking them. Don't be so quick to jump on anything that he says.0

All kidding aside sweetie, don't take it. Stick to a diet and exercise and drink plenty of water and the weight will come off. Believe me I have done Phentermine and lost tons of weight but the moment I stopped taking the pills I gained it all back.

NO PILLS WILL HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT IN A HEALTHY SENSIBLE WAY THAT LAST!!!
Eat a little healthier, eat a little less & move a little more!! :flowerforyou: you're welcome!0 -
This is a fun watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMUGUZ3EEEo
While I dont agree with everything Gary preaches I think its funny that in a later radio interview on Super Human Radio, Gary states that the producers of the Oz show told him that he had to agree on 1 thing before the end of the interview.
Oz states "So we can agree that if you eat pasta, you should follow with lemon juice? Correct?"
Gary "Or just skip the Pasta!"
LOL
Oz is for pure entertainment only IMO.

Dr Oz is just a Pitchman for soccer moms looking for that next big miracle in weight loss. I work in the supplement industry and have sold countless amounts of this crap... not to make money, but because women for some reason believe 100% of every word that Dr Oz vomits on television. Save your money Col.... you know what works... Dedication and hard work.0

Raspberry Ketones are only effective when used in conjunction with a combination of green coffee beans and green tea capsules.
The three pills should be ground into a fine powder, mixed with pure lemon juice, and drank under the light of a full moon at midnight on the 4th Tuesday of each month.0 -

To add to this I also hear mixing equal parts whole milk and diet coke, you can power a small city for 7 years!
Oz may be on to something!0
