30ds for average sized people...

I bought the 30ds and am on Day 3 of level 2. I am sweating my butt off, panting like crazy having to talk myself out of not giving up each time I do it. Level 2 is hard!!! I thought by now that I would be seeing some killer results (I'm 13 days into it all together) but I have yet to lose a single inch or pound. I feel tighter in my calves and thighs but that's about it. I even measured them on day 10 and they were the same size!! So my question is:
How many of you took longer to see results from the 30 Day Shred?
If so, how long? How much did you aim to lose when you began?
and
Did you stick strictly with the 30ds or did you mix it up and do another exercise with it?
I am wondering if maybe the 30ds is geared more towards overweight people and not average size people...

I could have written this myself! I'm on day 9 level one and zilch losses. I'm 156lb and 5'3.0

Let me know how you feel when you get to level 2:) I was surprisingly more sore 3 days into level 1 than I am 3 days into level 2. But I am just so dead tired after each level 2 workout. I'm hoping that level 2 will be the level where my body "gets it" and starts to make changes. But as of right now, I don't see how I could do this dvd for more than 30 days: or if I'd ever come back to it in a year:(
I'm 5'8" and 149
I'd LOVE to be back at my pre baby weight of 135 by my 10 year wedding anniversary this summer.0 -
Bump 'cause I'm thinking of starting it..0

Hey, I'm on day 7 of level 1, have re-started many times so I'm hoping to actually get past level 1 this time! I'm 5'8 144 and hoping for a similar goal to you around 135.
However, my biggest obsession is losing a couple of inches from my hips as that is where I hold most of my weight and I hate it, I'm fairly small on top.
Since I've started I've skipped a few days, and went back home for easter so my diet wasn't great, my stomach is definitely flatter, and I can see some tone from the side. Nothing major yet though!0 -
I completed it.but the results seemed to become obvious all of a sudden once I got to the level 3 stage.
I think I was more motivated by my level of fitness improving but I did lose inches and only about 3lbs in weight. It is a good kick start for me.0 -
It took me 2-3 weeks to see results. You might be losing inches from unsuspected places you haven't been measuring. You could also be holding onto to some water weight. Try before and after pictures. Most importantly finish the program. Results vary from person to person because of diet, workout intensity, and current weight.
I also added cardio along with doing it 5-6 days per week. I find that weighing myself the morning after my rest day is best.0 -

i was a size 12 weighing 130lbs before i started 30 day shred last july, im now a size 8/10. all i can say is that by sticking to level one, followed on by 2, and sticking to my 1200 calories per day (your amount obviously differs based on your bmi) i have lost a stone in 8 months! if you're sure that you've done all the above then i don't see why you wouldn't have seen results.. stick at it!!! dont give up cause it definitely works!! good luck0 -
I am on day 5 or 6 of level 2 and I feel much tighter all around. I am just now finding that I seeing more definition. I have heard many many times that you start to see the real results in level 2 and 3 when your stamina is better and you give it more than you could in level 1 when you just started working out--especially for those who were really inactive.0

Stick with it! I'm 5'6" 146 lbs. It took me until level 3 before I noticed any changes. Definitely take before and after pictures. They're totally worth it!0

Thanks guys! That helps! I did take before pictures. I had planned on taking "progress" pictures every 10 days, but I didn't feel like there was enough of a difference to justify taking them on day 10. Now I kind of wish I would have...0
